The full predictor is a highly advanced graphical presentation
of the integrated result of the ship’s heading projection,
speed and course over ground and rate of turn.


In addition to the turn prediction, this predictor also shows
the ship’s sweep area, which may be considerable during a
narrow turn with a strong side wind or in strong currents.

The function is primarily intended for archipelago navigation,
harbor approach, steering and putting in, and is particularly
appreciated at poor visibility, strong winds and in strong
currents.
