NEW  Adveto  Norwegian Night Presentation
 

 An example of the NNP presentation

The custom "Norwegian Night Presentation" NNP was designed by
captains on the Norwegian fastferries with start on ADVETO
navigation system "SeaPilot" already 1993. 
(The DATANAV or the Norwegian brandname SeaPilot was Adveto´s
first generation system, designed in late 1980´s)

The reason was to create an ECDIS/ECS night presentation better
suited for this special kind of traffic than the original ECDIS S-52
presentation and to eliminate the risk for blinding the bridge crew
during night navigation.

Now this presentation is tested by DNV as a part of the examination
for the typeapproval of ECDIS-4000.
These test are also documented by DNV and the result is written
into and can be found in the new ECDIS-4000 certificate.
